Orbit features one of the industry’s largest line-ups of pop-up and adjustable floor box assemblies for commercial and residential installations.
All pop-up, flip-lid and round screw plug models are available as either complete assemblies or cover plates. They are ETL-listed and a wide range of types and sizes are offered in brass or stainless steel finish.
Complete assemblies have heavy-duty steel electrical boxes, which are installed flush with the finished flooring prior to installation of Orbit cover plates. Floor boxes can be installed in wood or concrete flooring and in new or existing floors.
Options include tamper-resistant duplex receptacles or RJ45 low voltage. Tamper-resistant receptacles provide an effective and permanent means of protecting children from electrical shock if they insert foreign objects into receptacles.
Flip and Round Screw Plug Types – Flip and round screw plug types can be ordered as complete assemblies or cover plates only. Complete assemblies include an Adjustable Floor Box (from 0 to 2”) that speeds up installations in new or existing floors.
Pop-Up Floor Boxes – Orbit pop-up floor boxes are also available as covers only, or complete assemblies with a choice of one- or two-gang receptacles. One-gang pop-up covers include round or square shapes; duplex or RJ45. Two-gang pop-up covers are available in duplex; RJ45; or a combination of both. A PVC floor box, compatible with all pop-up covers, is also available for concrete installations.
